Vonixx is a brand from the state of Ceará, Brazil, the largest producer of carnauba in the world! Carnauba wax is obtained from the leaves of a palm tree known as Copernicia Prunifera. To avoid its own dehydration, this tree naturally produces a wax through its straws. Workers collect those straws and leave them to sun dry. These are then ground down into a fine powder, which contains between 70% and 90% of pure carnauba. Special solvents are added to this powder, the mixture is filtered and cleared, and thus the carnauba wax is born!
